“ Ok. So I came to the buffet a few weeks ago when it first opened and the food and service was pretty bad although they did a great job remodeling. I complained and was promised it would get better. I came back last night and the food was actually really good. The people were very attentive despite being swarmed. It was like night and day. I will definitely be back. My father who was with me both times agreed. Great job turning it around guys!!! It pays to listen. 5 star food and atmosphere. ”
“ People don't realize how hard it is to serve the public 8 hours a day and keep a smile on your face with a good attitude. Dealing with hundreds of personalities a day takes dedication and patience. I commend these employees, management and servers for their hard work. I work as a cashier in a major retail store and believe me with all the different personalities I deal with a day prayer comes in handy. Foxwood is beautiful and so are the people who work there. Kudos to you! Hope the owner reads this. So he knows many of us appreciate him. ”
“ Love Foxwoods. I remember the 1st time I came to foxwoods and went to the Rainmaker buffet. Paid one price and eat all you want I travel from nyc. I was there March 14th 2021. Rainmaker buffet was closed. But they remodeled it. I hope they open it soon. So if the owner read this. Open it ASAP ”
“ Whoever gave less than 5 is immature. The plates are clean, staff clean, food awesome, the cod fish is the only thing that was bland but it is not nasty. Everything is awesome! ”
“ Chef Chris was amazing, our servers where even more amazing...we come every year and this is our first time coming since renovations happened....the ambience of the lights the beautiful new kitchen....I can definitely see you guys took a page out of the mohegan sun buffet handbook but did a way more classier approach. Selections were awesome and seemed more fresher. The oysters were the most popular to me. I couldn't get enough for some reason. And that fried chicken is classic. Someone did there homework...lol Cant wait to come back next year to not only see more options but the different directions and innovations of food can go. Thanks again for such attention to detail and lovely meals. ”
“ I went to the new buffet at Foxwoods today. 06-20-19. I had a free coupon to go, so I went. After reading some reviews, I expected a lousy experience. Fortunately, I was surprised as to how good it was. People comment on the long line. Well, it was a long line. I went at a prime meal time, and the wait was about 25 minutes. But, I know that Foxwoods generously gave All employees, free buffet coupons, this past week, for themselves, and a guest. They also had given out some free coupons to some patrons, so the line was extra long. But, I've been to the Mohegan Sun buffet, and stood in line for equally long amounts of time. The food selection was more than most other buffets I've been to. If you are a meat lover, I highly suggest going. Prime rib, steak, turkey, chicken, sausages, meatballs, and more. Their veggies were good, and I was especially happy with the mashed potatoes. The prime rib was delicious, and the BBQ ribs were falling off the bone. The dessert line had many different choices as well. The only legitimate complaint that I have in common with others, is that some of the food could have been hotter, but, from the time it hits your plate, to the time you sit down and eat, could be long enough to cool it down a bit. Over all, I would recommend it, and I will definitely go back! ”
“ They must have gotten their act together. Everything was great from oysters and crab to soup and prime rib. The line was long but that’s not their fault. Mixed drinks were small but potent. We’ll go back. ”
“ My third time eating at rainmaker buffet, & it gets better every time. We had an amazing server named Lisa, she couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Prices aren't bad for all you get. ”
